Quicken Loans Flawless Service, Really Fast Quicken Loans Last month I did a refinance with Quicken Loans and found the entire proces...

We will never use Countrywide again and based on our experiences we will never refer them to others. We had previous loans with Countrywide which went well so we decided to use them again as a temporary source of funds through a HELOC. When we began the process of obtaining this line of credit all went and we were pre-approved immediately. All was in order and everyone was just waiting for the closing date to arrive. Then days before needing the funds, they changed the rules and we had to obtain another loan at a higher rate - we had no options as it would have been impossible for us to begin a new process with another lending agency on such short notice. There were numerous calls made on our behalf to try to figure out what was happening and even on the date of closing, they wired the wrong amount of funds and tacked on new fees and charges. It didn’t seem as though anyone there knew what was happening. I am very familar with financial matters and keeping notes so I was able to straighten it out for that day and then in the days that followed I had several correspondences with them to get their fraudulent charges reversed. I have experience is dealing with lending agencies yet this was the most stressful and frustrating. As this money was needed only temporarily, we paid them off as soon as we could but decided to leave the line of credit open just in case for the future. A few months later however, they thanked us for our timely payments but due to the change in the economy’s climate they would be pulling that line of credit from us. Two weeks later, they sent us a solicitation for a new loan.(!?) And now we received a letter of apology stating that a former employee of theirs sold our personal information to a third party and they gave us a list of actions we should take to monitor our credit activity. Just when they were already were at the bottom - they buried themselves.
