The “Help Card” -under the marketing of HC Processing Center- is a credit card of sorts that many companies utilise, to issue their consumers credit. I originally opened up this card at a bed sales store w/ 0% interest, if paid in 90 days.

When I initially opened the account, I verbally gave the sales clerk my information, then I was approved, and the merchandise was charged, after which I finally received a copy of the terms and conditions, which I read over.
I received my first bill and noticed an annual fee of $39 had been charged to my account, I quickly grabbed the terms & conditions once more and read over them. The fee was never disclosed at all! So I made my first payment of $600 to the company, and after which I wrote a dispute to the company challenging the remaining amount due (for defective merchandise that the merchant didn’t want to repair/replace) and especially challenging the $39 annual fee. At the point of the dispute, I had an amount of $439 due. I initiated a disputed w/ the BBB and it seems the credit card company, had no issue in helping “mediate” between the original merchant and myself, but when it comes to the credit card companies deceptive practice, they don’t budge. They simply start accessing late fees, finance charges etc., even though I wasn’t properly notified on the annual fee. By now, my balance due has grown to $624.23. I lost my 0% apr the moment I disputed the remaining balance, and so my APR went up to 26.99%
I am guessing by this point the company has NO intention of even standing by the original terms and conditions, so I have initiated a complaint to the Federal Trade Commission, in the hopes of getting this company shut down.

Just be very careful - in doing further research (which I should have done BEFORE) I found an astounding 113 complaints about this company that the BBB has handled in the past 3 years alone. If you even google this companies name, you’ll see other complaints that make you wonder why this company is still in existance…it’s b/c of unsuspecting consumers!
